Sponsor Mile in My Shoes’ Annual 5K Race

Each year, Mile in My Shoes hosts an annual 5K race which is the first official race for many MiMS Members. It is also our signature fundraising event for the season. Sponsorship for our annual 5K supports program operation throughout the season and helps us make this the most inclusive starting line around, offsetting the costs of free race entry for individuals historically underrepresented in running spaces - MiMS Members, BIPOC runners, runners who shared lived experience with our Members, runners with disabilities, and those without the financial ability to pay. TITLE 5K RACE SPONSOR - $25,000

A title race sponsor for our annual 5K will be included in race name, “Presented by”, name on finish line ribbon, and all race marketing communications including race website. The sponsor will receive on-stage recognition during pre-race program, up to 25 complimentary race entries to our annual 5K, name on all race branding and signage, most prominent logo placement on race shirts, and dedicated gathering spot at race day festival. Company logo and description of services/products will also print on Member gear kits at the start of the run season, MiMS website, custom social media post during our run season with links to company website, mentions in media exposure.

PREMIER SPONSOR - $15,000

Premier sponsors receive on-stage recognition during pre-race program, up to 20 complimentary entries to our annual 5K, dedicated gathering spot during race-day festival, logo on race apparel. Company logo and description of services/products will also print on Member gear kits at the start of the run season, MiMS website, custom social media post during our run season with links to company website, mentions in media exposure.

SIGNATURE SPONSOR - $5,000

Signature sponsors receive up to 15 complimentary entries to our annual 5K, logo on race apparel, MiMS website, custom social media post during our run season with links to company website, mentions in media exposure.

GOLD SPONSOR - $3,000

Gold sponsors receive up to 10 complimentary race entries to our annual 5K race, logo on finisher apparel, MiMS website, custom social media post with links to company website, and all other benefits listed below.

SILVER SPONSOR - $2,000

Silver sponsors receive up to 5 complimentary race entries, logo on finisher apparel, social media post with links to company website.

BRONZE SPONSOR - $1,000

Bronze sponsors receive up to 3 complimentary race entries, logo on finisher apparel, social media acknowledgment.

CORPORATE RACE TEAM SPONSOR - Sponsors choose to cover all or part of their employee’s registration costs. Sponsoring your employees is easy; we provide you with a discount code that you distribute to your employees, they use the code when they register, and we track registrations and invoice you the cost of your employees’ registration. Corporate sponsor logos are promoted on the race website and in social media, and additional opportunities for engagement and promotion are available.

Sponsor Other Races

If you or your company would like to cover the cost of race entries for our teams to participate in mid-season or end of season 5K/10K races (eg. TCM 5K, Drumstick Dash) or long-distance races (eg. City of Lakes or TC Marathon) for Alumni Members, please email rebecca@mileinmyshoes.mn. Costs range from $1500-$3000. Sponsors will be recognized in pre-race social media posts, race morning announcements and team gatherings, and at our end of season dinner celebration. Sponsor Gear

Mile in My Shoes teams use running as a tool for both personal and collective transformation. We run together to change perceptions and change lives. An essential element of our program is providing the gear needed for Members to start running with our teams.

Gear Sponsors cover the cost of one or more gear items in a Member Gear Kit, a drawstring gear bag distributed when a Member joins one of our site teams. Please email rebecca@mileinmyshoes.mn to discuss.

  Make a one time donation to cover the cost of a gear kit for a new MiMS Resident Member (shoes, socks shorts or pants, running shirt, gloves, sports bra if applicable, wristband)

• GEAR ITEM CORPORATE SPONSOR

  If you are a company that produces running gear or apparel, we’d love to talk about opporutnities to supply items in bulk for our Members. Logos for corporate sponsors will be printed on each gear kit (reusable drawstring bag) at the start of our run season.

• MiMS TEAM GEAR SPONSOR - $10,000

  Sponsor the direct costs of providing gear and incentives for a MiMS Team, averaging 40 Resident Members, for a whole MiMS run season (April - November). Team gear sponsors will receive 10 complimentary race entries to our annual 5K, logo on race apparel, logo on Member gear kits, and MiMS website, custom social media post at the start of our run season April with recognition for gear sponsorship and impact stats about the team.

MiMS TEAM SPONSOR - $21,000 | You or your company may sponsor the direct costs of operating a site team, averaging 40 Resident Members, for a whole MiMS run season (April - November). Team sponsors will receive 15 complimentary race entries to our annual 5K, logo on race apparel, logo on Member gear kits, and MiMS website, custom social media post at the start of each run cycle (April and August) with recognition for team sponsorship and impact stats about the team.
